At the begining of June, we went 2 weeks in a camping at Bormes les Mimosas, on the south coast of France ("côte d'Azur")
We spent a wonderful stay there, not too much tourists, a fine weather and many flowers in all the little villages.
We visited 2 beautiful islands : Porquerolles and Port-Cros.
We send you one of our best photos (we have taken 274 photos !!)
Do you know this region ?
Very good week or holiday
Christiane

It looks wonderful. I've only been to the South of France once and that was near the Pont du Gard. I'd like to go again but I'm always worried that it'll be too hot or too busy.
I'll have to get the map out to see where you were.
Anyway thanks for this lovely photo. Just right to brighten up a no doudt rainy day.

It is better than it looks. I spent 2 months there last winter. All the mimosas trees, (for which the village is named) were in bloom. The old village is very charming, narrow streets lined with artisan shops, restaurants and cafes. There is even a castle. Plus you have a view of the Mediterranean from anywhere in the village
And those little islands are so beautiful and easy to get to. Great for a bike ride or just to walk around
It can get crowded when there is an event going on, but not too crowded. And out of tourist season its not nice to visit cause the town literally closes.
everyone should visit Bormes les Mimosas
Hi Juliet,
Your blog is cool. I know his part of France. It's very beautiful. Have you seen Avigon and "Les Dentelles de Montmirail". Its great too.
Bye.
Frank
PS: you could said if I make some mystakes...
It looks so pretty. We are going to Cornwall this summer and will miss our visit to la belle france. Last year we visited the north west corner of Brittany - it was very pretty. Have a good summer. Gina
