Is everyone on holiday?
I guess everyone must be on holiday or busy in their gardens! I have nearly finished work for the summer and am looking forward to a holiday at home and a visit to Cornwall. The weather is not very good, warm but lots of showers. Today I made bread and some rhubarb jam - yum! Anyone else making jam? Gina

Unfortunately, this year, I don't make jam.
In my garden, I have only one plum tree, last year I made about 30 jam pots but this year there is no fruit at all because of the bad weather in spring, I think.
And now it's not a summer weather !! (very cloudy), we are waiting for the sun.
How is the weather now in Solihull ?

sorry to hear that you have no plums this year. Do you go into the countryside and pick fruit from the hedgerows in the autumn? Gina
yes, on September, I often go in countryside on bicycle to pick up blackberries and to make jam pots
it's better than jam you found in shops !

Glad to see that much fun can be had by jam makers...I've never tried but I do like eating it...with scones and clotted cream yum yum.
