Not long to go now

All the members of the Solihull Twinning Association who are visiting Cholet in May met last night at Val Bodenham's house to finalise our travel arrangements.

We have arranged for a coach to take us to the East Midlands Airport from Solihull. Our flight is mid-morning and so we need to leave Solihull quite early. This is a little more difficult for me as I no longer live in Solihull but at least it means that I can pick up our blind member David and take him to the coach pick up point.

Everyone is really looking forward to our trip and pass on their regards to our friends in Cholet.

There are two new people included in this years party who have not been to Cholet before. Also I believe that that there are a couple of new French hosts as well.

It's a pity that it's always the same personns who write on the blog but perhaps people have not any time to do it, or they are afraid to make mistakes but it's not a problem, the more important is to improve our english !
Congratulations to Juliet who is a very dynamic personn, I think, and thank you for her kind messages on the blog.
Today it's cold and wet, and I also hope that May will be sunny and warmer, especially when we receive our english friends.
Have a good week,
Best regards for all members of Solihull twinning,
Christiane

The Month of May

Won't it just be a merry month of May!! With all these twinning activities going on.
First of all some of the Brits in France and then vice-versa.

I'll be taking some IML members over to Solihull for a long weekend; the second weekend of May.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that Spring will have arrived by then.

It's a bit chilly at the moment and I've been told that there's been snow in the Midlands.

Come on we need a bit of heat. We'll I'm sure they'll be plenty of warmth in our hearts anyway whatever the weather!!

Bye for now

Juliet
