Back from holiday

Just back from a great holiday in Austria with all the family we stayed at a great place called Haus Patricia in Lofer. An English run guest house with appartments to rent out too. It was cold but sunny (as you can see).

Here's wishing you a great New Year for 2008 and keep on posting messages!!

Bye for now

This week-end on Friday evening, I went to Beaupréau to see a beautiful spectacle of children dancers. They come from Ukraine and dance for hospitals and orphanages of their country. Costumes made by children's parents are magnificent, and dances are very spectacular, it was a very nice and memorable evening and we were very delighted.
have a good week

Nursing in the UK

Non-registered staff

These staff can be found carrying out a number of roles, attracting various titles such as auxiliary nurse, healthcare assistant (HCA), clinical support worker, care assistant and nursing assistant. These titles all describe workers who work in direct patient care (often on wards), performing tasks such as personal care (washing and dressing), social care (feeding, talking to patients & generally spending time with them) and recording observations (such as measuring blood pressure).

This is the sort of job that Dominique's daughter is looking for. Can anybody help??

NWR

So if you don't know what the NWR is and even some people in England don't know...well you can go and look at their website. If you type NRW and Solihull you will find the site for the group in our twin town.

My Mum is a memeber of an NWR group where she lives.

It's an organisation for women to meet up and chat about lots of different subjects. To have talks/conferences/meals out etc.

I might go along to one of their meetings in May, as I'll be over in the UK for the trip. Then I would be able to tell them about life in France.

As I said for more information. Have a look at the website.

Do we have groups like this for women in France?
